We have offices in San Francisco and Seattle. One third of our team is distributed remotely across the US..

Founding

ngrok was founded in 2015 by Alan Shreve, a veteran of building distributed systems at scale. Initially an open source community-funded hosted service, we've now grown into a platform supporting millions of tunnels daily.
